LAS LOBITAS, LOS ANGELES is a dramatic, coming-of-age short film that follows Angel, a turbulent teen outcast living on the barren outskirts of an Arizonan desert town. When she turns eighteen, she and her best friends Jimena and Noely steal her mother’s couch and set it on fire in a wild birthday ritual. Angel’s first decision as a legal adult is to drop out of high school and leave her mother’s house for good.
When she crosses paths with a mysterious biker, a man she perceives to be her estranged father, she is faced with a sudden opportunity to leave her desolate hometown behind. With new sights set on Los Angeles, Angel learns just how far she’s willing to go to be where she believes she belongs.
